After graduating from Georgia Tech, our founder moved to the city to begin his career at a large company, stepping into the fast pace and constant motion of life in Manhattan. Between long workdays, crowded commutes, and the energy of the city that never slows down, it was the quiet moments at home that became most meaningful.
Coming from a close-knit family in a small town, comfort had always meant something simple and familiar. During those early days in New York, a blanket gifted by family quickly became an everyday essential - soft, warm, and grounding in the middle of the city’s hustle. That experience sparked the idea behind Abrazo: to create blankets that bring a sense of calm, warmth, and comfort into modern homes.
